Workshop – The work permit


This workshop is intended to inform you on the different visa categories (as a principal or a dependent) that allow you to work when you follow your spouse to the United States and the procedures which must be followed to apply for your work permit if you are eligible.

This educational workshop is open to all, with a content tailored towards the needs of spouses of expatriates.

The speaker

Attorney Eglantine M. Pauvarel Moss is experienced in the area of immigration and nationality law with a focus on corporate immigration law.

She is a graduate of the University of Houston Law Center and is licensed to practice law by the State Bar of Texas. Eglantine has helped numerous individuals, entrepreneurs and companies with their immigration needs while working for several immigration law firms prior to opening her own practice.

As an immigrant herself (French-American dual citizen) and a young entrepreneur, Eglantine understands the challenges involved with relocating to a new country, moving a family, and beginning a new position or operations abroad. Eglantine grew up in Toulon, France, and graduated from the prestigious Institut d’Etudes Politiques of Aix-en-Provence in 2005. She met her future husband while studying at Louisiana State University and later immigrated to Houston, Texas.

Eglantine is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and actively participates in many local chambers of commerce and bicultural associations.
